Functional Tracking
These remember your choices like currency format, preferred chart styles, or dashboard layout. They save you from reconfiguring everything each time you visit.
Analytics Data
We track anonymized usage patterns to see which tools get used most and where people get stuck. This helps us fix confusing interfaces and build better financial planning features.
Marketing Pixels
These track whether you came from an ad and what you did afterward. We use this to figure out if our messaging resonates with people who actually need budget planning help.

How Long We Keep This Data
Session cookies disappear when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stick around for the duration listed in the table above. Analytics data gets anonymized after 90 days and we delete user-specific tracking information after 26 months.
If you delete your account with us, we remove all associated tracking data within 30 days. Some aggregated statistics might remain but they won't contain anything that identifies you personally.
Third-Party Tracking
We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic patterns. Google sets their own cookies and processes that data according to their privacy policy. We've configured our analytics to respect Do Not Track signals and to anonymize IP addresses before logging them.
Updates to This Policy
When we change how we handle cookies, we'll update this page and adjust the date at the top. If we add new tracking methods that significantly change our data collection, we'll notify active users via email and ask for updated consent where required by law.
